LVG: Friday Eblast - Vacant Seat, Street Project, Yard Sale and More!

What’s New in
LVG:


LVG HOA Board of Directors Vacant Seat

The Board of Directors for Lansdowne Village Greens HOA consistsof five directors elected in rotating 3-year terms.

Recently one of our directors
moved from the community and resigned her board seat. According to LVG bylaws
the board appoints an individual to fill the vacant seat for the remainder of
the resigning
director’s term. In this case, the term runs through May 31, 2020.


If you have interest in becoming
an LVG board member we ask that you submit an email briefly describing your
qualifications and why you are interested in joining the board. In order to
qualify as a board member, you must be a property owner or the designated
representative of a property
owner.


Candidates will be given an
opportunity to meet with the board for Q&A on the October 2, 2018 Board
meeting at 5:00PM. At the meeting, the board plans to appoint a new director.

If you prefer, you are welcome to submit a letter in lieu of an email to the
address below.


Community Yard Sale – Saturday, October
6th **Rain or Shine**


It is time to start
organizing, decluttering, purging and prepping for our COMMUNITY WIDE YARD SALE
on Saturday, October 6th, starting at 7AM. We will team up with Lansdowne on
the Potomac to post some ads and we will have signs in our main entrances to
let everyone know!

• Place all items on your own driveway.
• Items may not be left or stored at any other time, aside from the time of the
yard sale.
• No personal signs allowed. There will be signs in the main entrances of
community
.

LVG: Street Maintenance Project – PLEASEREAD - Fire Lane, parking lines, handicap painting &asphalt crack fill repair

Weather Permitting – Maintenance work will be completed in to two (2)
weeks on Monday’s (9/24 & 10/1) and Wednesday’s (9/26 & 10/3)

***ALL
vehicles that are parked in a work zone will be relocated
,
to a nearby
parking space as close as possible within the community, so work may be
completed.
If your vehicle reaches or hangs over the end of your driveway,where there is a fire lane, please park your vehicle in a non-work zone. Relocation of vehicle will be
done by DD Towing and will be at the OWNER’S EXPENSE.


*** MOVE YOUR VEHICLE no later than7:30AM, as work will BEGIN at 8AM.

***There will be NO
PARKING signs in ground
as a visual reminder of work in those
areas, but not restricted to the location of the signs. Please note
the streets outlined in the link and below.

This schedule may change due to inclement weather and any adjustments tothe schedule, if needed, will be updated to homeowners as soon as possible.

REMINDERS & HELPFUL INFORMATION


TRASH/RECYCLING CONTAINERS: PLEASE
ENSURE THAT THE TRASH AND RECYCLING CONTAINERS ARE OUT OF STREET VIEW ON
WEDNESDAY, SATURDAYS, AND SUNDAYS


According to the
Policy Resolution No. 8, Use of Lots and Common Areas, “No trash receptacles
may be stored in open view. Trash containers may be put out for pick-up no
earlier than the evening prior to the scheduled pick-up day and must be removed
the day of pick-up.”


TRASH: All residents shall store
and dispose of trash in appropriate receptacles and must have securely fitting
lids which shall be secured when the receptacle is put out for trash pick-up.



GRILLS/SMOKERS: The Loudoun
County Fire Marshall / Fire Code prohibits grills/smokers/etc. (unless
electric) to be used/stored on condominium balconies. Additionally, the storage
of propane tanks, even inside of garages, is also a FM/FC violation; with regard
to condominiums.

PET OWNERS: Please always
pick up after your pets. You are responsible for immediate removal and disposal
of all animal waste.



LITTER: Owners shall not
place litter or debris on any Common Areas. In addition, always ensure that
trash and recycling receptacles have a securely fitting lid or are secured
tightly, so trash or debris are not blown all over the community.

STORAGE OF UNAPPROVED ITEMS:Exterior storage containers of any type are prohibited. This would include hose
bibs, sprinklers, toys, grills, etc., if they are not being used.
