LVG: E-mail Blast - Upcoming Projects, Postponed Pool Party, and More

Summer Events:

MOANA
MOVIE IS POSTPONED for tomorrow due to possible inclement weather. It will be
tentatively rescheduled to LABOR DAY WEEKEND, Sunday Sept 2nd.


If weather permits, tomorrow
we will have a POP-UP PARTY at the POOL with music, food and games starting at
6:30 to 8pm.


Upcoming Preventative Pavement
Maintenance Project:


Every few years to
ensure LVG’s private streets double its life cycle and provide a maximum curb
appeal a preventative pavement maintenance must take place. The Association is scheduling for a pavement
maintenance within the next few weeks that will include asphalt crack filling,
repainting of all fire lanes, fire lanes stencils, parking lines, and handicap stencils. This project is expected to be completed in 4
to 5 business days, weather permitting, and will be performed by Gettier
Commercial Inc., who also completed the painting of the speed humps, along with
the crosswalks, and stop bars in the community.


In order the complete
this project the community will be divided into sections. During the time of
when the sections are blocked off, all owners and their guest must clear out
the parking spaces. We will provide notice prior to work beginning. If vehicles
aren’t removed, towing will be enforced at the owners expense. More details will soon follow.

ENFORCED AT THE OWNERS COST DURING THIS TIME**


Committee Volunteers Needed

There are
several active committee that provide guidance and direction to the Association
and the Board of Directors. Currently
the Covenants Committee is seeking a few individuals willing to help make LVG a
better place to live. Please contact Kathryn Edwards at the Harper clubhouse or kathryn@patriotpropertiesinc.comfor more details.

REMINDERS & HELPFUL INFORMATION


TRASH/RECYCLING CONTAINERS: PLEASE
ENSURE THAT THE TRASH AND RECYCLING CONTAINERS ARE OUT OF STREET VIEW ON
WEDNESDAY, SATURDAYS, AND SUNDAYS


According to the
Policy Resolution No. 8, Use of Lots and Common Areas, “No trash receptacles
may be stored in open view. Trash containers may be put out for pick-up no
earlier than the evening prior to the scheduled pick-up day and must be removed
the day of pick-up.”


TRASH: All residents shall store
and dispose of trash in appropriate receptacles and must have securely fitting
lids which shall be secured when the receptacle is put out for trash pick-up.



GRILLS/SMOKERS: The Loudoun County
Fire Marshall / Fire Code prohibits grills/smokers/etc. (unless electric) to be
used/stored on condominium balconies. Additionally, the storage of propane
tanks, even inside of garages, is also a FM/FC violation; with regard to
condominiums.

PET OWNERS: Please always
pick up after your pets. You are responsible for immediate removal and disposal
of all animal waste.



LITTER: Owners shall not
place litter or debris on any Common Areas. In addition, always ensure that
trash and recycling receptacles have a securely fitting lid or are secured
tightly, so trash or debris are not blown all over the community.

STORAGE OF UNAPPROVED ITEMS:Exterior storage containers of any type are prohibited. This would include hose
bibs, sprinklers, toys, grills, etc., if they are not being used.
