LVG: Board of Director's Annual Meeting Reminder - Tuesday, June 5th @ 7PM

A
friendly reminder that the Lansdowne Village Greens Board of Director’s meeting
is next Tuesday, June 5th, at 7PM. To ensure the Association meets its quorum requirements for the Annual Meeting,
please submit the Proxy to Kathryn Edwards at the Harper Clubhouse or e-mail to
communications@lvghoa.org no
later than next Tuesday. If interested
in serving a three-year term on the board of directors, please complete and submit
the Petition of Candidacy form by this Friday, June 1st. Forms can be found via link on the bottom of
this e-mail.

In
accordance with Article 2, Section 2.3 of the Bylaws of the Lansdowne Village
Greens Homeowners Association, the Board of Directors hereby announces the 2018
Annual Meeting
of the membership to be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at
Lansdowne Village Greens’, Harper Clubhouse, at 7:00 PM.
Registration
will commence at 6:30PM.


The
Board of Directors urges those property owners who are unable to attend this
important meeting to please submit the attached Proxy form by Tuesday,
June 5, 2018
or by hand delivery to the LVG Secretary at the Annual
Meeting. This will ensure the Association meets its quorum requirements
for the Annual Meeting. The Association documents provide that each lot
shall have one vote.


For
those interested in serving a three-year term on the board of directors, please
complete and submit the attached Petition of Candidacy form no later
than Friday, June 1, 2018. To be eligible to serve on the Board
you must be a member in good standing which is defined in the Association
By-laws as a member whose account is not more than sixty (60) days
delinquent.


We Need Your Vote!

Additionally,
the Board of Directors is seeking Membership approval to extend the Board’s
authority to borrow funds on behalf of the Association, by an additional
15%. The borrowed funds will be used for
the specific purpose of exercising the Association’s option to cause OpenBand
at Lansdowne Town Center, LLC (“OBLTC”) and its affiliates to relinquish their
Easement Exclusivity Rights. By
exercising this option, the Association will have the ability to provide
new/additional television and internet choices to the community.


Proxy and Petition of Candidacy forms are attached if you click
on the link and should be submitted to Kathryn Edwards at the clubhouse, by mail,
19501 Promenade Dr., Lansdowne, VA 20176, email:
communications@lvghoa.org, or hand delivered.

Proxy forms may also be hand delivered to the LVG Secretary at the
Annual Meeting.
