What’s New in

Community Yard Sale – Saturday, May 5th**Rain or Shine**

It is time to start
organizing, decluttering, purging and prepping for our COMMUNITY WIDE YARD SALE
on Saturday, May 5th, starting at 7AM. We will team up with Lansdowne on the
Potomac to post some ads and we will have signs in our main entrances to let
everyone know!

• Place all items on your own driveway.
• Items may not be left or stored at any other time, aside from the time of the
yard sale.
• No personal signs allowed. There will be signs in the main entrances of

Pool Opening

Pool opening is just around
the corner!!

Pool is scheduled to open this upcoming Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 26!
The pool will be open daily from 11AM to 8PM.

If you haven’t done so already, please swing by the Harper Clubhouse for your
2018 Guest Pass! Please bring your Harper Clubhouse ID to obtain the Guest Pass

If you are NEW to the community and do not have a Harper Clubhouse ID, please
stop by at the clubhouse to get one issued. If you are renting and the lease
has expired, be sure to bring in a CURRENT copy of your lease and ensure that
the property-owner has filled out the Facility Transfer Form, on your behalf.

Speed Humps Installation – Starting Thursday, May 3 to Friday, May 4th. Weather Permitting

Commercial Concrete, Inc. will be in Lansdowne Village Greens installing asphalt speed humps along area streets.

Please be on the lookout for construction work areas and follow the direction given by traffic safety personnel.

During this time, please do not park, drive, or walk on any area installed with new asphalt. Keep your car, pets, and children as far away as possible from these

Technology Committee Survey: Telecom Survey Preference – DUE April 30th

If you haven’t
completed the Telecom Survey Preference, please take a moment to do so
now. Please make sure to check your Junk
Folder and If you did not receive it, please send me a quick e-mail requesting
for the survey to be sent to you. The more participants, the better for the entire community.

Now Hiring: The Harper Clubhouse is Now
Hiring a Part-time Front Desk Staff

The Harper
Clubhouse is in need of a reliable and flexible part-time front desk
staff. Please contact Kathryn Edwards at

Committee Volunteers Needed

There are
several active committee that provide guidance and direction to the Association
and the Board of Directors. Currently
the Covenants Committee is seeking a few individuals willing to help make LVG a

According to the
Policy Resolution No. 8, Use of Lots and Common Areas, “No trash receptacles
may be stored in open view. Trash containers may be put out for pick-up no
earlier than the evening prior to the scheduled pick-up day and must be removed
the day of pick-up.”

TRASH: All residents shall store and dispose of trash in appropriate receptacles, and must have securely fitting lids which
shall be secured when the receptacle is put out for trash pick-up.

County Fire Marshall / Fire Code prohibits grills/smokers/etc. (unless
electric) to be used/stored on condominium balconies. Additionally, the storage
of propane tanks, even inside of garages, is also a FM/FC violation; with regard
to condominiums.

PET OWNERS: Please always
pick up after your pets. You are responsible for immediate removal and disposal
of all animal waste.

LITTER: Owners shall not
place litter or debris on any Common Areas. In addition, always ensure that
trash and recycling receptacles have a securely fitting lid or are secured
tightly, so trash or debris are not blown all over the community.

STORAGE OF UNAPPROVED ITEMS:Exterior storage containers of any type are prohibited. This would include hose
bibs, sprinklers, toys, grills, etc., if they are not being used.
